Where is merlin?
February 22nd, 2006
Maybe you’ve seen that Merlin, our service development wizard, was not here these days. No worry, he’ll be back in a few days.
To let you know, we have new guys with us in the coComment team. Let’s welcome Leif, Chris, Roberto, Guillaume and François!
We’re all preparing you great stuff for the coming weeks, as mentionned in the previous post.

Hi Nicolas — nice to keep us updated. Before I saw this post, actually, I was thinking you should do something to introduce the team members. Here’s a suggestion: http://www.cocomment.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=209

I’d say the vacation is well deserved! Nice to meet the new folks, I’m assuming that if you guys are ramping up on developers then there is some great stuff coming down the pipe.

Where are you recruiting people from for the coComment development team? I’d like to know

For the moment we are in Switzerland, but who knows…

Are you all just friends? Collegues? Old co-workers? People met on the internet/blogsphere?

Most of us have been working for Swisscom Innovations (R&D). But we also have great support from a Swiss geek blogger and other software developers

“Most of us have been working for Swisscom Innovations (R&D).”
Now THAT’S an interesting piece of information to know. That’s actually really good news as this means this service is backed by a large company (meaning $$$, and bodes well for the future of the service itself). I would have never guessed, for some reason I had this image in my head of a group of hackers hanging out in someone’s basement putting this together ;-).
That being said, you guys have to be doing this for a reason so I’m really interested to see how this will tie in to Swisscom’s core business. What other tricks do you guys have up your sleeves?

Just for those that are interested, I’m back
(Although my stomach didn’t like the mexican food…)
Still some jet lag, so don’t expect too much. But the vacation was really cool
